Staff Fun Day

Staff from The Edrington Group held a Fun Day which helped raise £2000. Douglas McCarthy brought the cheque into our project office on the 14th October 2011. Douglas and his colleagues raised £1000, which was kindly match funded by The Robertson Trust to bring the total amount raised to £2000. Thanks to everyone involved.

Great Scottish Run

Alan & Janice Anderson took part in the 10k Great Scottish Run on the 4th September 2011, raising £300. Many thanks to them and to all those who sponsored their run.

Fundraiser in Maryhill

Margaret Knight held a fundraiser in Maryhill on the 23rd September 2011. A buffet, disco, auction and raffle helped raise the fantastic sum of £608.15. A great night was had by all.

Davie Cooper Centre Charity Shield

A total of £1177.86 was raised during a five-a-side tournament, auction & raffle held on March 26th 2011 in Blackpool. Our old friends the Blackpool True Blues organised the event, with Rangers Supporters Clubs based in England & Wales taking part.

Our sincerest thanks to all the teams who participated - Blackburn Loyal, Blackpool True Blues, Blackpool True Blues (Back Of The Bus Loyal), Blackpool True Blues (Carnforth Division), Bolton RSC, Cardiff True Blues, Llandyrnog RSC, London Branch, North East Loyal, Preston Loyal, Southend Britannia, Stockport True Blues, Stoke-on-Trent RSC & Woking Loyal.

The final between North East Loyal & Blackpool True Blues (Carnforth Division) ended in a 3-3 draw with North East Loyal eventually winning after a penalty shoot-out.

A Pie, a Pint and a Pundit - "The Third"

A Pie, a Pint and a Pundit - "the third" was held on the 11th March 2011 in Drumchapel's Goodyear Social Club. As in previous years, it was a very successful evening with £5087.12 being raised.

Ibrox Collection

A collection was taken at Ibrox Stadium during the Rangers v Motherwell game on 16th October 2010. The total raised was £3434.14. A huge thank-you to all the punters who put their hands in their pockets, The Rangers Charity Foundation and to all the volunteers who collected on the day.
