On the 7th December 2007 we held a Fun & Information Day at The Play Drome in Clydebank.
It was great to welcome children & staff from Kilpatrick Primary & Secondary Schools, Campsie View School and Drumchapel Learning Centre.
Activities included Freddy Whizz the Clown, soft play, basketball and bouncy castles.
Beat the Goalie with ex-Rangers player Bobby Russell (charity patron) was a popular choice with many.
Anne-Marie Quinn of Stress Aware offered free relaxation therapies and we thank her for her contribution.
We also had an information section which included representation from Carers of West Dunbartonshire, Cornerstone, West Dunbartonshire Partnership, CHAS, Smart Start, Mental Health, The Kieran Mess Foundation and The Ayrshire Special Games.
A tasty buffet (Classy Snax) helped keep the energy levels up.
Our thanks to West Dunbartonshire Provost - Denis Agnew, Des McNulty MSP, Rt Hon John McFall MP and to the numerous Local Councillors who dropped in to say hello.
We would also like to give a special mention for the staff at the Play Drome who were exceptionally helpful.
The aim of the day was to have fun and to raise awareness not only about our charity but also about other services on offer.
So thanks to all who attended and a special big thanks to all the children for making it such a great day.
