3rd September 2007 - Finalised Outline Planning Approval

Scottish Executive approval given and we now have received the outline planning documentation from West Dunbartonshire Council planning department.

What an important day!!!!

6th June 2007 - Outline Planning approved

The Council of West Dunbartonshire's Planning Committee have approved our application for outline planning of the centre subject to referral to the Scottish Executive.

We would like to thank the Planning Committee for their support. It was a very emotional day for all of us involved at The Davie Cooper Centre.

Obviously we are really delighted and the work now begins.

February 2007 - New Patrons

We are delighted to welcome Walter Smith O.B.E., manager of Rangers Football Club and Alistair McCoist M.B.E. as new patrons of the charity.

October 2006 - Accessibility for Scotland

The Davie Cooper Centre publication Accessibility for Scotland is now available.

This exciting new bi-annual publication is to make accessible information to special needs families/carers across Scotland in areas such as support services available, mobility and leisure etc.

August 2006 - Outline planning application lodged
